Trust & Security

Your clients trust you. You need to trust your infrastructure.

Title is built for professionals who bear fiduciary responsibility for high-value assets. That means every part of our operation, from how we handle data to how we select specialists, is held to the same standard you hold yourself to.

Where we come from

Built inside Lloyd's of London

Title was developed inside Lloyd's Lab, Lloyd's of London's insurtech accelerator. Working directly with syndicates and underwriters who insure the world's most valuable collections shaped how we think about risk, documentation, and accountability. The standards of the insurance market are embedded in the platform.

Specialist network

How we vet our 1,500+ specialists

Every specialist in the Title network goes through a structured evaluation before they are eligible for assignment. We do not accept self-reported credentials at face value.

Credential verification

We confirm professional designations directly with the issuing body: AAA, ASA, ISA for appraisers, AIC for conservators, and equivalent credentials for other specialties. If a specialist claims a certification, we verify it.

Experience review

We evaluate relevant experience through direct conversation: years in the field, category depth, notable engagements, and methodology. We are looking for demonstrated competence in the specific asset classes our clients need, not generalists.

Insurance validation

Every specialist in our network carries professional liability insurance (errors and omissions) appropriate to their engagement type. We verify coverage is current and adequate before any assignment.

Ongoing quality monitoring

After every engagement, we review deliverables and collect client feedback. Specialists who fall below our standards are removed from the network. Quality is not a one-time check.

Data security

How we protect your data

Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Collection records, valuations, and client information are protected at every layer.

SOC 2 Type II

SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress. This audit evaluates our controls for security, availability, and confidentiality against AICPA standards.

Access controls

Role-based access ensures that team members, clients, and specialists see only the data relevant to their role. Every action is logged with timestamps and attribution.

Data ownership

Your data belongs to you. It is never shared, sold, or used for purposes beyond delivering the services you request. Full export is available at any time.

Client confidentiality

Discretion is foundational, not a feature

The professionals and institutions we serve manage sensitive assets in sensitive circumstances: estates in probate, separations under litigation, collections with significant insurance exposure. We treat every engagement as confidential by default.

Our case studies are published with client permission and identifying details removed. We do not disclose client relationships, collection values, or engagement details without explicit authorization. References are available on request for qualified prospects.
